Ayia Napa

The city of Ayia Napa (also known as Agia Napa) is located about 8 km from Protaras Village, near the south-eastern coast, in the Famagusta district of Cyprus.
 

Even though it's a smaller town, Ayia Napa is considered the main city within the Famagusta district, which is currently divided between Cyprus and Northern Cyprus.

Ayia Napa was once a quiet fishing village, yet today, this popular tourist town is known for its sandy white beaches and clubbing nightlife.

The city of Ayia Napa was named after the Ayia Napa Monastery, which situated in the town center.
