Fatsa Wax Museum

The Fatsa Wax Museum is located in Skarinou Village, within the Larnaca district of Cyprus.

This museum, which opened in 2005, features over 150 sculpted wax models of Cypriot life from the Neolithic period to the present day.

According to the museum's brochure, "Fatsa Wax Museum targets to offer to the visitor a historical view of the culture of Cyprus.  The museum is structured in eight themes, each one of it represents, in chronological order, the back view of the historic and culture past of the island.  [The eight themes include the] Traditional Works, Copper Age, Royalty/Religion, Struggle for Independence, Turkish and English Domination, Cyprus Coup, Turkish Invasion, and Current History."

The Fatsa Wax Museum is considered the only wax museum in Cyprus.
