Foinikoudes Promenade

The Foinikoudes Promenade (also known as Phinikoudes Promenade) is located along Athenon Avenue on the seafront in the city of Larnaca, within the Larnaca district of Cyprus.

As the primary tourist area in Larnaca, this seafront promenade features plenty of restaurants, cafes, and tourist shops, as well as a beach and marina.

The Larnaca Fort is situated at one end of the Foinikoudes Promenade.

Also, there's a statue of Kimon the Athenian.  In 450 BC, when the ancient-city of Kition (now the city of Larnaca) belonged to the Persian Empire, the Athenian General Kimon died at sea, while defending Kition in battle.  On his deathbed, he urged his officers to conceal his death, which made him a hero to those fighting.

While exploring the city of Larnaca, the Foinikoudes Promenade is a popular destination for tourists and locals.
